Ed Shorrock to speak at Annual Serious Organised Crime Conference

BakerPlatt’s Director of Forensic and Regulatory Services, Ed Shorrock, has been invited to speak at the 2nd Annual European Serious Organised Crime Conference, on Monday 9th March 2009, at the BT Convention Centre in Liverpool.

Ed will be giving an update on Proceeds of Crime and Asset Recovery, specifically in relation to offshore jurisdictions, overall vulnerabilities and emerging trends.

The conference is designed to build links and capacity and further improve the development of law enforcement and techniques across Europe. It will highlight strategy and provide best practice case studies, from the UK and the continent. Attendees will examine links to terrorism, organised crime gang recruitment, gun crime, financial organised crime and human trafficking.
