The Stop Tax Haven Abuse Bill - Breakfast Briefing, 8.30am Wednesday 18 March 2009
The Stop Tax Haven Abuse Bill was reintroduced to Congress on 2nd March 2009. It already has 56 sponsors in the House of Representatives.
Following various meetings with relevant Senate Committee representatives in Washington D.C. last week, Stephen Platt will run a complimentary breakfast briefing session for key clients of BakerPlatt examining the following:
- The rationale for the Bill
- Why Jersey is listed
- What the Bill could mean in practice
- The U.S. legislative process and how it can be influenced
This breakfast briefing will take place on Wednesday 18th March 2009, from 8.30am to 9.30am at The Royal Yacht Hotel, North Celestial Hall. Breakfast will be provided.
