Ed Shorrock - Director, Forensic & Regulatory Services

Having worked with a variety of Jersey’s government departments, private institutions and law firms, Ed has been heavily involved in a variety of regulatory, criminal and civil actions with a focus on the restraint, custody, realisation and confiscation of assets. 

Having qualified as a chartered accountant in 1998 with Arthur Andersen, Ed spent two years at a fund management company acting as Finance Director, Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer.  After rejoining Arthur Andersen in 2000, Ed focused on asset management operations, litigation support, and forensic assignments.

During a secondment in the bankruptcy section of the Viscount’s department, Ed managed a range of projects involving asset seizures under drug trafficking legislation and was involved in regulatory investigations relating to asset management and fiduciary legislation. He has also acted on dispute resolution assignments and in complex, high net worth matrimonial dispute cases.

He joined BakerPlatt from Deloitte and Touche’s Channel Islands practice in August 2008.
