Corporate Social Responsibility

We believe that much of what we do professionally is firmly within the public interest. In particular our expertise on asset recovery actions in political corruption cases is a contributor to the creation of civil society in developing countries.

Closer to home we participate fully in the Jersey Legal Aid Scheme in which we provide legal representation at no cost to individuals in criminal and civil matters.

The annual BakerPlatt Youth Advocacy Competition offers an opportunity for students to develop core skills, reflecting the firms commitment to the highest standards of courtroom advocacy.

Our Undergraduate and Postgraduate Bursary Schemes are also designed to support talented young people with ambition in need of financial and professional support.
